Glo Is on it again as GLOBACOM, the organisers of the Glo Battle of the Year, has announced that another dance competition will start airing on TV stations in February 2022. Police have arrested four young boys for the killing of a girl identified as Rofiat  at Oke Aregba area of Abeokuta in Ogun State on Saturday. Soliu, who was the boyfriend of Rofiat had, with the aid of his friends strangled her, cut off her head and burnt same in a local pot, purportedly for money ritual. Luck ran out on the teenagers when a local community guard, Segun Adewusi, sighted their activities and reported to the police at Adatan. The four young boys are  17-year-old Wariz Oladeinde, 19-year-old Abdulgafar 20-year-old Lukman and Mustakeem are all residents of Abeokuta,  Rofiat’s boyfriend who initially absconded was later arrested by the police. According to the Ogun Police Spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the boys have all confessed to the crime, claiming they planned to use the burnt human head for money ritual. Controversial ‘kayanmata’ seller, Hauwa Saidu aka Jaruma Empire has returned to social media after she was granted bail and released from prison in Abuja.as she maintained that she only spent one night in prison stating that her products helped her to be released. The young lady filmed a video in front of a correctional facility in Suleja as she took a jab at those who have been trolling her and her products since she was arrested. Jaruma claimed that contrary to reports of being in prison for four days, she regained freedom on Tuesday after getting arrested on Monday. The family of the murdered Masters student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Timothy Adegoke, is against the police idea of taking the suspects to Abuja. Recalling the moment the victim had lodged in Hilton Hotels and Resorts at Ile-Ife owned by Rahman Adedoyin, upon his arrival from Abuja on November 5, to enable him to arrive early for his examination at the OAU Distance Learning Centre, Moro, Osun State, on November 6 and November 7, he was declared missing. Subsequently Mr Adegoke was declared missing, the police were invited and seven suspects were arrested by the Osun state police command, where the investigation commenced.    A pastor of the Celestial Church of Christ Adewunmi Awotidoye, has been hospitalised after being attacked by armed thugs who raided his church  the Jakande area of Lagos State. It was gathered that the thugs, who were armed with guns and machetes, stormed the church on motorcycles during a service. They were said to have beaten up the pastor including cutting him with a machete as the incident, which happened on Tuesday, January 25, created confusion among congregants, as some fled the church premises. A Texas woman Rebecca Lanette Taylor, has been arrested for trying to purchase a one-year-old boy for $500,000 from his mother as she queued in a Walmart self-checkout line, authorities say. Rebecca Lanette Taylor, 49, from Crockett, allegedly told the mother who was waiting with her baby and infant son that she liked her the boy’s “blonde hair and blue eyes” and inquired how much she could buy him for. An unease calm is currently sweeping across some states of the South West over fresh cases of attacks by suspected herdsmen in the area. Eight villages in the Imeko-Afon Local Government Area of Ogun State recently fell victims.  There was also the violent exchange between herdsmen and some Ohori farmers at Idofa village, which left five persons dead, and property worth millions of naira destroyed.
